HTML5 and CSS3

I wouldn't be much of a web designer if I didn't comment them in my blog. Problem is that these two new players don't mean anything to those not interested, so I'll try to have some fun trying to turn these arbitrary strings of letters and numbers into something fun or just daft.

You could compare HTML5 to a leatherman. Neither of them is really too confusing or complex. They just do things better than before. They are relentlessly logical, very user-friendly and you can take down a space mutant with either one.

To me CSS3 is much like a box of foreign chocolates. I'm anxious to feast on them but I know for certain that there are some that I will taste and go ewwww. Also there are quite a few that I cannot offer to my clients no matter how much I love them. You see, in order to eat a CSS3 chocolate you need a tableware called browser. Google Chrome or Firefox are like sporks - handy and extremely useful no matter what you eat. Internet Explorer on the other hand is like trying to eat with a watermelon. You can only squash the chocolates.

And yet many people willingly choose the watermelon.
